U ever tried or know if u can use da rubber one until u lose signal den switch um if gotta?
i guess you could run'em like dat....but why carry an extra ....this one stands taller than the rubber one fully collapsed.(so you will have more "dog to unit "reception) then ,when you fold it its more compact..to me its better to have the maximum range without haveing to switch on the fly....bu you just gotta see'em in action...and youll be STOKED too....

Right on braddah Eli mahalo for the ant. Never use um yet but hopefully this weekend.oh yah hui laho nui it's not good to keep switching ants. I found out the hard way I get the longrange garmin ant With the long cord kept changing ant from the little rubber one to longrange and guess what yup my aerial broke so it's not good.I like the system so much I bought one new one and sendEd my old one in for repair.when the aerial breaks the collars looses track at 100 yards so yah dont do it just use one ant. No good switch around.thanks again Eli this ant is the one.I cannot wait for use um.mahalo good deal
