Using a half vest for track dog.

Or even full vest. Does anybody use vest on their track dogs?

I've seen trackers carry vest, cut collar, and two tracking collars and hunt hard for about 4-5 hours. So the right equipment is out there if that's what you were wondering.

Right on, thanks for the reply. I have a half vest for my tracker but never did use it, I'm totally afraid of him getting overheated. I think what I really would like to know is how many people successfully use vest (with cut collars) on their hard hunting trackers without overheating?

Rajah! The times I've seen it was at night or cooler places like mauna kea and Volcano!
