best dc 40 antennas?
HOWDY BOYS,ANY ONE OUT THERE RUNNIN AFTER MARKET ANTENNAS ON THEIR DC 40Z...HOW ARE THEY WORKING ?MINE ARE CUTTIN OUT 5-700 YARDS IN THICK GUAVAZ...IS THAT GOOD ?LET ME KNOW DA SCOOPZ...ALOHA

Wassup brada joe mines been going out to about 700 yards too in da thick guaivees with da 40s stock ant. to but wen i pull out da whip antenna for the astro it pick up sumtimes almost 3/4 mile in the thick... sherm been making his own antennas and been working good on his dc 30s...the antennas i get on my 30s is the after market ones and its suck battery life way to fast but it catches good.. i probably going change my 30s and 40s to the antenna sherm been making i think its r/c wire which doesnt suck battery life and catch long range!!Give sherm a holla he hook u up..i hope this helps brada Aloha keep pound um..
